The Student Ombudsman works in collaboration with the School’s Pedagogical Council and the respective student association.
The Ombudsman is responsible for:
a) Assessing students’ complaints and grievances and making relevant recommendations to the competent bodies of the IPC or schools;
b) Make general recommendations with a view to safeguarding the interests of students, particularly in the areas of educational activity and school social action;
c) Develop activities and initiatives that it deems appropriate for the proper performance of its mandate.
Recommendations must be considered by the competent bodies and services of the IPC and its organisational units, and any refusal to implement them must be duly justified and made known.
