Within the deadline set for enrolment, check your ISCAC Student number, available through the Inforestudante academic platform at https://inforestudante.ipc.pt:
• in the link Consult User – DGES Placements, fill in your full name or identification document number and the user (login) will be provided for authentication.
• in Password you must enter the access key that DGES (Higher Education General Board) sent you in the e-mail or SMS with the results of your application.
Within the deadline set for enrolment, access the Inforestudante academic platform at https://inforestudante.ipc.pt with the username and password used in the application or, if you have been placed via Special Regimes (PALOP and others), the username and password are provided in person by the Academic Management Service.
1.For security reasons, it is mandatory to change the initial access key after logging in to Inforestudante.
2.Then click on the menu ‘Academic Desk’ in ‘Enrolment’ and fill in the required questionnaire.
3.Once the mandatory information has been filled in, a document for payment of the enrolment fee and tuition fee is generated. Payment can be made immediately via home banking or any ATM terminal.
You also have the option of paying via PayPal, but you must add the enrolment fee and tuition fee to a single item, thus reaching the minimum amount for payment in this method.
If you have applied for a scholarship or intend to do so, you can submit the application for special DGES scholarship status after you have generated the pre-registration debts. This application is set up for automatic deferral and once submitted you must return to the enrolment and complete the process.
NOTE: Submitting this application does not suspend the registration fee, so you must pay it in order to go ahead and complete the registration process.
4. Once the enrolment fee and tuition fee have been paid, you must start enrolling on the course you have been placed on. It is at this stage that you will have to select the course units to attend in the 2024/2025 academic year, in the Course Enrolment menu.
5. As soon as the enrolment has been completed (sealed), you can obtain the digital multipurpose certificate from the Documents menu (for the purposes of child benefit, ADSE, etc.). It has the same legal validity as the paper document. We recommend printing out the Registration Summary to attach to the multipurpose certificate.
Once you’ve completed all the steps described, and ‘sealed’ your enrolment, you’ll finally be an ISCAC student!
Once you have completed your enrolment and registration, you must register for the class timetables available for each curricular unit by the deadline.
For more information see Timetables
The student card is issued by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) through the protocol signed between the Polytechnic University of Coimbra (IPC) and CGD.
After enrolment, you should contact the CGD to formalize your request for a student card, whether bank or not, which is up to the student.
You can request the issuing in person at any branch of Caixa Geral de Depósitos or at CGD online, which will require authentication and signature using the Digital Mobile Key. Students who do not yet have a Digital Mobile Key should apply as soon as possible on the authenticação.gov platform.
We would like to inform students who have not opted for any of the above solutions that during the first week of classes there will be a CGD stand on ISCAC’s premises, where they can apply for the card and/or ask any questions.
The following documentation must be submitted for validation purposes:
1.Identification document (Identity Card/Citizen Card/Passport)
2.Residence permit or visa – if you are a non-Europeen Union citizen, you will need a declaration issued by the Agency for Integration, Emigration and Asylum (AIMA) declaring that you have been legally living in Portugal for more than two years, uninterruptedly, on 1st of January of the year in which you join ISCAC
3.Tax Card, if you don’t have a Citizen Card
4.Vaccination certificates with updated tetanus vaccine
The submission of the above-mentioned documentation is mandatory and must be completed by December 31, 2024, at the academic management office.
On the 4th and 5th of September 2024, the academic management services have extended opening hours for validation of the individual file (proof of life), from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., password Prova de Vida.
