The curriculum of the Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Auditing (LCA) is structured to provide students with a set of skills and abilities that equip them with theoretical knowledge (knowing), technical-professional expertise (knowing how to do), social and relational skills (knowing how to interact), and foster a mindset of continuous learning (knowing how to learn).
The general objectives of the LCA aim to deepen the knowledge required for the practice of accounting, auditing, taxation, and related fields while simultaneously encouraging the development of projects inherent to higher education.
On a professional level, the program focuses on enabling accountants to develop methods and processes that pave the way for a successful career across various dimensions.
To achieve the course’s general objectives, the curriculum is based on a solid foundation in the various branches of accounting: financial accounting, management accounting, public accounting, taxation, auditing, and related disciplines, along with other essential subjects for comprehensive training.
Since 2024, the Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Auditing has been part of the select group of programs recognized by the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC) for access through OPTION 1 – Integrated Project in a Higher Education Program Accredited by the OCC.
This recognition stems from the inclusion of two Business Simulation courses (16 ECTS) in the LCA curriculum.
