Authentication of Candidates (step 1)

Within the deadline set for enrolment, access the Inforestudante academic platform at https://inforestudante.ipc.pt , with the user and password used in the application.

Enrolment and registration (step 2)

1. On the Inforestudante platform, click on the ‘Academic Desk’, menu ‘Enrolment’ and fill in the mandatory questionnaire.

2. Once the mandatory information has been filled in, a document for payment of the enrolment fee and tuition fee is generated. Payment can be made immediately via home banking or any ATM terminal.
You also have the option of paying via PayPal, but you must add the enrolment fee and tuition fee to a single item, thus reaching the minimum amount for payment in this method.
If you have applied for a scholarship or intend to do so, you can submit the application for special DGES scholarship status after you have generated the pre-registration debts. This application is set up for automatic deferral and once submitted you must return to the enrolment and complete the process.

LOOK OUT: Submitting this application does not suspend the registration fee, so you must pay it in order to go ahead and complete the registration process.

3. Once the enrolment fee and tuition fee have been paid, you must start enrolling on the course you have been placed on. It is at this stage that you will have to select the course units to attend in the 2024/2025 academic year, in the Course Enrolment menu.

4. As soon as the enrolment has been completed (sealed), you can obtain the digital multipurpose certificate from the Documents menu (for the purposes of child benefit, ADSE, etc.). It has the same legal validity as the paper document. We recommend printing out the Registration Summary to attach to the multipurpose certificate.

Once you’ve completed all the steps described, and ‘sealed’ your enrolment, you’ll finally be an ISCAC student!

Issuing the student card

The student card is issued by Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) through the protocol signed between the Polytechnic University of Coimbra (IPC) and CGD.

After enrolment, you should contact the CGD to formalize your request for a student card, whether bank or not, which is up to the student.

You can request the issuing in person at any branch of Caixa Geral de Depósitos or at CGD online, which will require authentication and signature using the Digital Mobile Key. Students who do not yet have a Digital Mobile Key should apply as soon as possible on the authenticação.gov platform.

We would like to inform students who have not opted for any of the above solutions that during the first week of classes there will be a CGD stand on ISCAC’s premises, where they can apply for the card and/or ask any questions.
