The Bachelor’s Degree in IT Management aims to train professionals in the fields of Information Systems and Management, capable of performing their professional activities with a high level of technical and scientific competence. The goal is for graduates of this program to become professionals who can use, design, develop, and optimize Information Systems and Technologies in both public and private organizations, through knowledge and application of various aspects of Information Systems management, whether strategic, financial, management control, or system integration.
At the technical training level, the curriculum includes courses in Information Systems, Information Technologies, and Project Management. The complementary training includes subjects covering areas such as human resources, entrepreneurship, languages (beyond Portuguese), accounting, administration, and law.
The main learning objectives consist of acquiring technical knowledge in the areas of Information Systems, Information Technologies, and Project Management; deepening knowledge in human resources (such as time management, conflict resolution, and team management), which will allow the development of interpersonal and organizational relationship skills; encouraging entrepreneurship from the early stages of the program; acquiring interdisciplinary skills that will enable students to approach, apply, and integrate concepts and methodologies from diverse areas; attending complementary training alongside the defined curriculum, such as studying languages other than Portuguese (English, French, Spanish, or German), which will provide additional skills in public speaking; complementary training in areas such as Accounting, Administration, or Law, which will facilitate easy integration into organizational project teams, serving as key intermediaries between two populations with distinct languages and skill sets (the organization’s core workers, such as managers, and the IT experts, such as programmers); and acquiring skills in autonomy and proactivity.
