Students can apply to Higher Education Institutions | HEIs with which the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra |IPC – Coimbra Business School |ISCAC has a Bilateral Agreement within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme and which respects their field of study.
The existence of an agreement does not guarantee the student academic recognition, so you should check with the institution you want if it has courses that are compatible with yours.
You should make some enquiries before selecting your host institution. If you’re undecided, you can consult, for example, the EU’s U-Multirank tool to compare universities and read tips, or consult specialised websites such as Study.eu or iAgora, which include evaluations of universities in Europe (and the rest of the world) and student comments.
Before you start your Erasmus+ mobility programme, talk to colleagues who have already been to the university you’re going to. You’ll find more tips on the portal Study in Europe.
It is important that, by consulting the official websites of the institutions in detail, you ensure that the institution you have chosen:
Offers curricular units which are interesting to you and similar to your study plan at Coimbra Business School |ISCAC;
Offers a set of curricular units taught in a language you have either acquired or expect to acquire before mobility begins;
It has an academic calendar that is suitable for Coimbra Business School |ISCAC.
Once you’ve been properly informed, you’ll be ready to apply, pointing out three selected institutions in order of preference.
It may seem obvious, but you must remember to take care of your accommodation! Finding accommodation is up to the students. You can look for accommodation in a university residence or in a private house. In either case, accommodation is usually paid for. This information is usually on the websites of the respective institutions. If you can’t find this information, you should send an e-mail to the institution that will be hosting you.
