The Institute of Accounting and Administration of Coimbra is a school/company with wide experience (31 years) in teaching business studies. Giving most importance to both theory and practice, this school fits nowadays labour market which has become more and more competitive.
The school strategy is to face active life, providing courses not only for day students, but also for night students, taking into account these students’ needs and their learning experience through life.

ISCAC has adapted its teaching to the market needs and also to the suggestions presented by the external evaluation of the courses. From 2007/2008 all the school courses follow the Bologna model. It began to grant only first degrees (three years), of an only cycle, in the following courses: Accounting and Auditing, included in Taxation, Auditing and Management Control, Accounting and Public Management, Company Management…

Besides these courses granting the degree, this Institute has developed further training and long-life learning. In further training, the following Post-Graduate Courses are available: Accounting and Company Taxation, PME’s Management, Banking and Insurance Management, Education and Health Organizations Management, Management Information Technologies and Systems.

It is also a school purpose to offer integrated and further training of the first degrees. Thus, it has submitted to approval two Specialized Technological Courses (CET): Commercial Management and Marketing and Informatics Applications. Three Masters were also submitted: Company and Public Auditing, Management and Financing Control and Financial Analysis.
